A really well presented Metacanthus trilobite, discovered in the Anti Atlas mountains of Morocco.

The trilobite dates from the Devonian Period, 395 to 345 million years old.

Typical of this trilobite are the sweeping genal spines, and the delicate pygidial spines.

A great specimen in superb condition to add to a collection, or an interesting and different gift.
